Quick + Easy Homemade Frozen Eggo Waffles (but better… way better)
Welcome to your newest addiction.
This breakfast recipe is super simple and quick. I love to make them as a batch and then toss in our freezer for when we’re ready to eat them!
Whether we are low on time or it’s a slow morning. These have been a major obsession for us lately! With only 5ish minutes to a fresh waffle- you can’t beat it!
They reheat so well, stay crispy on the outer edges and soft in the middle and they’re slightly sweet. Just like the restaurants.

- Step 1: Mix waffle batter as instructed on back of bag. One batch makes approx. 5 waffles.
- Step 2: Heat waffle maker.
- Step 3: Pour batter into center of maker. Be sure to leave about a 1.5-2 inch space around the edges so it doesn’t spill out.
- Step 4: Allow waffles to completely cool on rack.
- Step 5: Place a wax sheet between waffles to prevent sticking when they freeze.
- Step: Bag waffles into a freezer gallon size bag. Put into freezer lying waffles flat until froze.
To reheat
Once the waffles are frozen and you’re ready to eat one….. Or two.
Simply take a waffle from the bag and discard any wax paper that may be sticking to it.
Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
Once preheated, put waffle into oven directly onto the middle rack.
Bake for 5 minutes.
Flip the waffle and bake for about 2-3 minutes longer.
Voila!!!
Top with your desired toppings and enjoy!
