About

Meet Madison

I’m a mama to two, a former hair stylist, furniture flipper, 3D wood sign creator, and baby boutique business owner that I proudly grew to over 6-figures within one year after opening our storefront.

HEY THERE, MAMA!

I’m so glad you’re here.

To explain further- I made the tough decision to close our rapidly growing baby boutique, sell off my laser machine, and about 90% of all of my other business materials that went along with it because…….

In the last few months of 2022, we strongly desired a change of pace in our everyday life and we were eager to put ourselves into a different environment. I was also looking to get away from the hustle culture (that I admittedly put myself in; it’s not that I look down on it, it’s that I realized I didn’t think it was the right time for me to be as invested as I was for that phase of my life). So, it only seemed right to entirely start over if we were going to start over in an entirely new state (and having no friends or family in the area). I figured if I could do everything I did with a 2 year old and 3 month old baby in my arms, then I sure as heck could make what I wanted to happen all over again.

In December 2023 (two days after Christmas), we received the keys to our new home in AZ and my focus quickly shifted to slowing down, embracing family time and tackling an unplanned decision to homeschool our son, and of course, going back to all of the SAHM duties (which we know is a full time job and then some).

Overall, the decision behind all of my past endeavors has always remained the same. Which is creating a supportive and welcoming place to build community catered to motherhood.

By creating this blog, I’ve created a space I can pour myself into while still continuing to connect with the beautiful people I’ve met along the way; as well as continue sharing all of my perspectives, insights and lessons learned. It also allows for me to keep healthy boundaries with myself and “the grind”.

Thank you for being here with me and embracing all of the change!

I really hope through this change and my transparency, that you too, find helpful things that better your life, make motherhood a little easier and more enjoyable on your journey. I also hope we find ourselves having a community of mamas that we can comfortably lean into.

I’m so excited to finally and solely, focus on authentically sharing everything with you all!

Thank you again for being here.

xx, Madison Saldivar

FAQ

This is my first year blogging!

I’ve dabbled in a lot of different things in the past and I occasionally help my husband with his real estate business when I have extra time.

Some of my past endeavors include: cosmetology, furniture refurbishment, DIY home projects, I studied interior design for a short period, I attended college for Early Childhood Education, I had sign business I started with my first real investment (a laser cutter), I created a night market with a friend back in Washington state (that’s still thriving ) and I had a successful online baby shop that led to me opening my very first storefront.

I guess you could say I’m a jack of all trades!

One day I will be able to, confidently!

H&M, Target, Amazon, thrift stores and up-cycled children’s stores.
